Location Washington DC Open Date Sep 11, 2023 Deadline Oct 15, 2023 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description The Department of Philosophy at Georgetown University invites applications for a tenure-track position to begin in August 2024. The teaching load is two courses per semester, with teaching responsibilities at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Additional responsibilities include graduate supervision and standard departmental and university service. We are looking for candidates whose area of specialization is ancient Greek philosophy. Qualications A Ph.D. in philosophy or a closely allied eld is required prior to appointment start date. Candidates must have prociency in ancient Greek. We aim to conduct Zoom interviews with candidates in the second half of November and to arrange campus visits for finalists during the first half of December. A job offer will be made in January or February.
