Position Introduction: The Department of Philosophy at Vassar College invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar in Analytic Philosophy beginning Fall 2024.

About Vassar College: Vassar is a highly selective, coeducational liberal arts college of about 2400 undergraduate students, located in the Hudson Valley, seventy-five miles north of New York City. Vassar stands upon the homelands of the Munsee Lenape. Position Description: The Department of Philosophy at Vassar College invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar specializing in analytic philosophy. Applicants must be prepared to teach courses in both Metaphysics and Philosophy of Language. We are particularly interested in candidates with training in some area of non-western philosophy. The teaching load is 3 courses per year, and the position includes research funds. The term of the position is two years, beginning August 2024. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in hand by the starting date.

Salary Wage Range Pay Transparency Disclosure: The annual base starting salary range for this full-time postdoctoral fellowship is $80,000 (USD).
