Description

The Department of Philosophy at DePauw University invites applications for a full-time, one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning August 2020.  Ph.D. in Philosophy or a closely related field desired; ABD required.  A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts setting and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching are essential. In addition to teaching in their AOS, the department specifically seeks candidates to teach business ethics. Ability to teach in the some of the following is a plus: feminist philosophy, environmental philosophy, ancient philosophy. Teaching assignment is six courses per year (3-3), and funding is available for professional development and research with undergraduate students.
