Two VAP Positions at Colgate University

The Philosophy Department at Colgate University invites applications for two one-year visiting assistant professor positions, both beginning fall semester 2019. Position #1: AOS: Open. AOC: Environmental Ethics. Position #2: AOS: Open. AOC: Open, but the department has teaching needs in philosophy of race, non-Western philosophy, social and political philosophy, and history of philosophy. All applications received will be considered for both positions. Teaching load for each position is five courses per year. Completion of the Ph.D. in philosophy is expected prior to or shortly after the date of hire.
 
Candidates should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, at least three reference letters, a writing sample, a research statement, and a teaching statement through https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/13226.
