The Department of Philosophy at Montclair State University intends to make a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin in September 2018.
AOS: Philosophy of Mind, AOC: Metaphysics. The successful candidate will be expected to teach three courses per semester (two sections of the same introductory-level course and one upper-level course), engage in an active program of scholarly research, and perform service appropriate for the rank of appointment. A Ph.D. in philosophy is required (the degree must be conferred by July 1, 2018). College teaching experience is required.
