The Philosophy Department of Elon University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor, beginning mid-August 2018. We seek a candidate, Ph.D. in hand (or with a defense date set), whose teaching is organic to their philosophical life and would complement and enrich the Philosophy Department’s areas of expertise and long-standing focus on innovative, engaged, praxis-oriented pedagogy.
