The philosophy department at Texas Tech University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Philosophy beginning August 2025. Area of specialization: Social/Political or Ethics (with some preference given to Social/Political). Area of Concentration: Open. Undergraduate and graduate teaching. The teaching load is 2/2. Research expectations typical of major research institutions. Some thesis supervision. Service to the department, college, and university is expected. Salary competitive. Summer work available.
