WMU seeks applications for a tenure-track assistant professor appointment in the Department of Philosophy with a start date of Fall 2018, pending budgetary approval. AOS: Ethics or History of Philosophy. AOC: Open. We will give higher priority to the overall promise of a candidate’s work than to the specific area of concentration. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research, teach at the undergraduate and graduate level, and participate in departmental and/or university service. The college is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of our academic community.
