Open Rank Faculty Position in History and Philosophy of Physics
Rank:  Open, tenure track, with a preference for more junior candidates.
​AOS: History and philosophy of physics;
AOC: Open. Competence in physics expected and interest in integrating history and philosophy of science welcomed.

Assistant Professor in History and Philosophy of (Medicine OR Computation Science OR Early Science). 
Rank: Assistant professor, tenure track.
AOS: History and philosophy of (Medicine OR Computation in
Science OR Early Science);
AOC: Open.

Beginning September 1, 2019, pending budgetary approval.
​Duties: Four courses per year; graduate and undergraduate advising; usual non-teaching duties.  Application requirements: Ph.D. prior to appointment is required.  Applicants should submit a cover letter, a C.V., at least three confidential letters of recommendation, a research statement, a teaching portfolio, and a writing sample through the following URL: https://facultysearch.as.pitt.edu/apply/index/MjQz.
