AOS: ethics or political philosophy, AOC: open. We seek a candidate interested in developing competence in the study of the moral and political ramifications of technology. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active program of scholarly research, develop and teach undergraduate courses, and contribute to service appropriate to the rank of assistant professor. The department’s teaching load is five undergraduate courses per year, which will include courses in the faculty member’s specialty, as well as, sections of Philosophy of Technology, a course required for computer science majors.
