AOS/AOC in alphabetical order: Formal Epistemology; Game and Decision Theory; History of Logic, or of Mathematics, or of Philosophy of Science; Logic, including Philosophical Logic and Computability Theory; Philosophy of Science, including Philosophy of Biology, Philosophy of Cognitive Science, Philosophy of Economics and the Social Sciences, Feminist Philosophy of Science, General Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Language and Linguistics, Philosophy of Mathematics, Philosophy of Physics, Science and Race.

The department also prefers scholars who can make a strong contribution to teaching courses in the MA program in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics and especially encourages applicants from underrepresented groups in philosophy to apply.
